only more leaves
fell.
Holding up my
purring cat to the moon
I sighed.
Drunk as a hoot owl,
writing letters
by thunderstorm.
Crossing the football field
coming home from work -
the lonely businessman.
Snap your finger
stop the world -
rain falls harder.
